I work with children, teenagers, young adults, individuals, and families who need healing and rest from anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, relational struggles, and other wounds of life. As a Christian therapist, I aim to create a space of healing where you feel fully seen and heard, and where you can experience wholeness and freedom in Christ. I will provide practical and useful tools and strategies informed by the latest brain science to help you walk in the original design God has planned for your life. I would be honored to walk alongside you in the redemptive story God is weaving.

My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goals as a counselor are to partner with and yield to the Holy Spirit and His guidance, to have a processing space where each person I encounter feels fully seen and heard, and to equip my clients with practical and significant tools to use. I desire each of my clients to live in a place of wholeness and freedom in Christ where they can operate in their original design.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I offer a processing space where you can feel fully seen, fully heard, and fully safe. I use a holistic, relational, and trauma-informed approach. As a faith-based professional, I combine the latest brain science with Scriptural principles from a biblical perspective. In our first session, I will take time getting to know you and your story as we determine which direction you want to take in therapy. I will also incorporate prayer into each session.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
One benefit of a distinctively Christian approach to counseling is that we have the guidance of the One who knows us best, our Creator, who informs and directs us to live in wholeness with Him. God has an original design for each of us, unique to our gifts, strengths, and personalities, and has called each of us to walk in relationship and sanctification with Him. My faith informs my practice as I use the inspired Word of God, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the partnership with the active work of the Holy Spirit.
Qualifications & Experience
I hold a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from St. Cloud State University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from University of Minnesota, Duluth. I am EMDR certified and MAP certified. I also completed trainings in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), which is an approach to effectively support children and youth who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect.
My Call to Christian Counseling
Since I was 15 years old, I knew the Lord was calling me to pursue counseling. I had always been intrigued by the brain and emotions, and have had opportunities to care deeply for people amidst their life’s tragedies before I started my career. Empathy has always been deeply rooted within me as long as I can remember, and along the way, God has made it so evident that this is the path He has for me.
More About Me/On a Personal Note
I really enjoy being outdoors in nature (hiking, camping, hammocking, boating) as well as being active (swimming, running, mountain biking, going on walks), and anything that will give me an adrenaline rush. Soaking in worship music and journaling are part of my daily routine. I love games. I also enjoy reading and being creative (designing, painting, DIY projects, etc.). Spending time with friends and family is also high on my list.

Women’s Issues
As women, the world often tries to tell us who and what we should be. Through many conflicting and harmful messages, damage has been done in both actions and words, creating wounds in our hearts. Together, we will work to root out the messages that have not aligned with the God who created us and implement Christ’s truth. Depending on your circumstances and needs, I can also incorporate knowledge and resources on women’s biology and what our hormones and menstrual cycles tell us about our mental and physical well-being.
Counseling for Teens
I have worked primarily with teens throughout my career and have a heart to partner with teenagers and their families to overcome the struggles they are facing. The brain is rapidly changing, and many voices are telling your teen who they should be in one of the most significant developmental stages of their life. I aim for my teenage clients to know who God has called them to be in this time of life and to create a space and partnership for their voices to be heard and thoughts to be untangled. I have come alongside teenagers struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes, identity issues, and various other experiences in need of deep healing.
Trauma and PTSD | EMDR Therapy
Our world is full of traumatic and confusing experiences that can leave our nervous systems on high alert and disconnect our relationships and view of the self. Without help, the wounds left by these moments can leave a lasting impact. However, God has called us to freedom and wholeness in Him. There is hope. I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), a Trust-Based Relationship Intervention (TBRI) lens, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) modality to partner with our God and work toward healing the moments that have impacted you the most.
Depression
Depression is a thief and can leave you feeling empty, stuck, and colorless. Together we will work to identify the roots of these symptoms in your life and propel you toward wholeness and freedom from depression. We will uncover unhealthy belief systems and replace them with the truth so that the wounds that have festered can heal and you can live a full, vibrant life. My hope is that through our time together, you will be empowered to walk according to who God has called you to be.
Anxiety
Anxiety can hinder you from living in full freedom and can hold you back from your day-to-day life and aspiring adventures. I will work together with you to overcome the symptoms of anxiety through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a mix of other modalities supported by brain science. Christ came to restore us to Himself. Through Him, your mind, body, and spirit can experience full healing.
