Online Counseling – Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri
I offer professional Christian counseling for teens, adult individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of unknowns in life. No matter what you’re going through, God is able to guide you and carry you through, and it would be my joy to walk that path with you through Christian counseling as we learn to trust Him together in deeper ways. As we meet over time, my hope is that you will come to see your true value in Christ as His beloved child.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
As we work to navigate the challenges you face, my hope is that our time together will spur you on to live and lead from a place of loving God, His Word, and His people. As we take practical steps to overcome your struggles, I will encourage you through the lives of Bible characters as we learn from their examples and consider how to trust God one moment at a time.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
With a direct, non-judgemental approach, I offer a welcoming and inviting space where you can offload your burdens and cast your anxieties on the Lord. As a counselor trained in early attachment relationships, our work together will include gaining insight into the ways we respond to life. This understanding can help us give grace to ourselves and others as we seek to strengthen relationships with God and those around us.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
My approach to Christian counseling is similar to how Jesus related to the disciples and the people He met: by being very relational and observing the world around Him. He spoke to them through their heart needs, and even had a sense of humor when speaking to the leaders. I seek to do the same in my practice – I take a relational approach and aim to identify the heart needs of my clients as we rely on the Lord for direction and lasting healing and hope.
Qualifications & Experience
While I have 12 years of formal experience in mental health, I have been serving the Lord in ministry and serving His people in various capacities for more than 40 years. I hold a Bachelor of Arts and Science and a Master of Arts in Counseling, both from Dallas Baptist University.
I am trained in EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, and as a First Responder. I also have training in Biblical counseling, grief therapy, marriage therapy, and relationship issues.

Anger Management
This is one emotional response that I am all too familiar with in my life. I will help you identify the origin of your anger, see what God says about anger, and provide suggestions, materials, or strategies to help alleviate the anger. We will take these steps with the goal of giving you ways to walk through to a place of joy and peace in the future.
Anxiety
It is unfortunate, but we live in an era that seems to be anxiety-producing. As someone who has relocated way too many times, I have lived life trusting God’s leading into a lot of unknown situations. As you and I look at the anxiety in your life, I will help you normalize it, reduce it, and encourage you to put boundaries around the areas in your life that are most vulnerable.
Depression
Depression is one of those emotions that can be a response to a lot of things, including loss, health issues, mental decline, marital problems, etc. I will help you look at your life and some possible reasons you are struggling. We may also look at biblical characters and how they dealt with it as well.
Grief and Loss
We mostly associate grief with the loss as a result of someone passing. There are many other types of losses that one can experience. God is with you and will comfort you but learning to surrender that loss to Him can be hard. I will help you normalize grief and loss and walk with you through this time of uncertainty.
Spiritual Development
Are you aware that the Bible really is the answer book? It takes a lifetime to explore but it is so amazing how detailed God’s word is and how everything works together. I am always so comforted and encouraged. I would consider it a privilege to share resources with you and I hope that I can pass on this contagious joy I am developing even after many years of challenging situations.
